Swashbuckle - Crewed by the Damned
Some great deathy thrash with random pirate bits thrown in. The number of piratey acoustic interludes is kind of annoying. They kill all the momentum, particularly in the second half of the album. That said, the metal parts kick ass. And I honestly laughed out loud the first time I heard gang vocals shout

Isis - Wavering Radiant
No download, but the album is streamable on their myspace. It's probably their best work since Oceanic, though honestly they're never going to top that. Check it out.

Harpoon - Double Gnarly / Triple Suicide
teethofthedivine.com:
At a brisk 23 minutes, the sticking point for many on the 12 tracks will be the programmed drums which make an already clinical, caustic tone, even more mechanical and sterile. Also the vocals of Binder are more in line with the modern hardcore/screamo style than classic grindcore. Still, there are some nifty riffs and structures that range from the typical blistering, scathing grindcore blasts (”Lefty”, “The Cacographer”, “Frogs, Boils, Locusts”, “You Should be Longer”) to violent punky expulsions (”The Midget and the Duchess”, “) and few grooves (”Sloth-Ass”, “The Difficulty in Listening to the Elderly”) and some tasty thrash injections (”Buddy System”, Bad Beekeeping”). It’s all furious and fun, and never overstays its welcome.

Marduk - Panzer Division Marduk
Shred-your-face-off black metal. If you don't already have it, do yourself a favor and check it out.

Swarm of the Lotus - The Sirens of Silence
Old Isis meets old Converge maybe? You could call this metalcore if you wanted, but they have nothing in common with As I Lay Dying or Chimaira or other Hot Topic bands. It's heavy as balls and really good. Another band that went before their time.

Drudkh - Autumn Aurora
Wikipedia:
Drudkh, meaning "wood" in Sanskrit, is an atmospheric black metal band from Ukraine... Their strongly folk-influenced music focuses on a strong atmosphere with a lot of feeling, and the lyrical contents embrace Slavic mythology, seasons and poetry. Many of the band's lyrics are derived from the works of nineteenth- and twentieth-century Ukrainian poets, especially Taras Shevchenko.

Millions - Gather Scatter
Hey look, another band that likes The Jesus Lizard a lot.
Lambgoat:
Gather Scatter is an unbelievably impressive full-length debut for this Chicago foursome. It's one part melody, one part punk energy, and one part inventive rock, all wrapped up with enough off-time rhythms and coarse emotion to ensure the listener's engagement. It goes well with Akimbo and a lot of the current Louisville scene (Young Widows, Lords, Brain Banger, etc.). I like to use my "mandatory listening" stamp responsibly, but refraining from applying it to Millions would be a crime. Check this out.

From Monument To Masses - The Impossible Leap In One Hundred Simple Steps
I saw these guys on Monday and they were pretty awesome. Extremely active, un-boring post-rock. They have actual riffs and stuff.

The World/Inferno Friendship Society - Addicted To Bad Ideas
The World/Inferno Friendship Society (commonly referred to as "World Inferno" or "The Inferno") is a cabaret punk band from Brooklyn, New York. Its style merges punk, klezmer, and gospel, while its collective membership features horns, piano, guitar, a number of percussionists, as well as a variety of other instruments such as accordion, xylophone and orchestra bells.
This album starts off a little slowly, but starts getting great with "Ich Erinnere Mich An Die Weimarer Republik".

Trinacria - Travel Now Journey Infinitely
This is the product of Enslaved members and Fe-Mail members getting together and writing psychedelic, noisy, progressive, blackish metal. I like it.

Breach - Venom
1999: Recorded by BREACH and mixed at Tontenik in the winter, Venom is clearly their finest moment to date and a culmination of their work. Their renegade pastiche of fiery hardcore resolve, metallic precision and intrepid indie ingenuity had never been so seamless and pure and, as a result, Venom was met with an incredible response when issued in March by Burning Heart.

Torture Killer - Sewers
As you probably guessed, these guys play death metal in the Cannibal Corpse vein. Heavy, pummeling, nothing new but very well done.
