The first available track has nothing to do with what I could have expected from those two working together, but it's far from bad. It really sounds like Godflesh, which means like Isis at their beginning. Official release on August 4th, I just can't wait!

Isis - Sawblade EP

This EP is very disapointing : it came just after the Mosquito Control and The Red Sea, which are way better. But it's also one of the less known piece of work by Isis, and the Godflesh cover Streetcleaner is pretty awesome. A must-have, only for that song.

A Silver Mt. Zion - 13 Blues for Thirteen Moons

Re-posting because it's still really friggin good. GY!BE members, which you probably already knew. Ephraim's voice takes a little getting used to, but I actually like it. I wish these guys would tour again, them live is truly an experience. 4 long songs, all of which are excellent, especially the first two. A lot of people call this post-rock, but I don't really see any relation between this and the vast majority of post-rock bands. I'd call this album psychedelic folk, similar to Comus. Listen.
